As part of the project seminar “Corporate Taxation & Accounting”, students on the Bachelor degree program of Business Administration at THI Business School had the opportunity to visit INTARIA AG in Munich together with Prof. Dr. Alois Rauscher. Prof. Dr. Rauscher teaches internal and external accounting at THI Business School.

At the beginning of the event, Fabian Galler, Partner and Board Member of INTARIA AG, and Stefan Hierl, Partner, introduced the company. Bettina Edler, Head of HR, gave an overview of career opportunities at the fast-growing medium-sized auditing and consulting firm.

The students presented the results of their project work in small groups. Six large listed companies from various sectors were analyzed, focusing on financial, performance and strategic aspects. The companies' sustainability reports as part of the EU taxonomy were also taken into account.

Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to discuss their analyses with the experts from INTARIA AG. Oliver Trautwein (Senior Manager), Stefan Hierl and Fabian Galler also shared exciting insights into current developments in practice, such as sustainability reporting.

The excursion underlines the practical approach of the THI Business School: the combination of theory and practice enables students to apply their knowledge in real projects and gain valuable experience for their professional future.
