Lunch Learning: Skills Shortage - Opportunities and Possibilities through International Students

The number of international students at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is steadily increasing - a trend that is fuelling the demand for specialized professionals in our region. The newly founded International Welcome Centre (IWC) at THI is taking advantage of this dynamic and showing how small and medium-sized companies in particular can benefit from the fresh perspectives and talent.

A solution to the shortage of skilled workers: THI wants to integrate international students into the labor market in Region 10 in the long term (symbolic image: Pixabay).

In conversation with Dr Gerhard Schönhofer, Georg Overbeck, Director of the IWC, will provide interesting insights into his work. The event will occur on Monday, 24th of February 2025, from 12:00 to 12:30.

With Lunch & Learn, the THI has created an appealing format that combines knowledge transfer and networking.
