During her stay, Professor Durski conducted intensive research into AI-driven optimization in logistics, working closely with scientists from Zagreb and Belgrade and Professor Bernhard Axmann. Her research included an international survey in Brazil, Germany, Croatia, and Serbia, which focused on the use of artificial intelligence in logistics. Initial results have already been published, and further publications are in preparation. Professor Durski has been a professor at the Department of Mobility Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Brazil since 2014 and is a member of the renowned MIT Global Scale Network. She looks back on an impressive scientific career, with 17 book chapters, over 28 scientific articles, and 89 conference papers. In addition to her excellent research activities, Professor Durski has also become part of the Ingolstadt community. During her stay, her two daughters, Victoria and Gabriela, attended the school in Ingolstadt-Ringsee.
