Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Kefferpütz: New addition to the team of professors at the Doctoral Centre for Engineering Sciences

We warmly welcome Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Kefferpütz to the team of professors for the Doctoral Centre Engineering Sciences at the Doctoral School of TH Ingolstadt.

Prof Kefferpütz brings extensive scientific expertise in the research areas of coordination algorithms for autonomous, cooperative systems and distributed sensor data fusion. He is also anchored in the Fraunhofer Application Centre ‘Networked Mobility and Infrastructure’ and the Ingolstadt AImotion Bavaria AI mobility hub, making him a perfect fit for the Engineering Sciences Doctoral Centre. 
His professional career began with a doctorate at TU Darmstadt, then took him to MBDA Deutschland GmbH as a development engineer and to Augsburg University of Applied Sciences as a professor of control engineering. Since 2022, he has been Professor of ‘Autonomous, Cooperating Systems’ at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TH Ingolstadt.
