Servus MINT

Servus MINT is a joint project between THI, KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, IFG and Brigk, aimed at supporting students in the region who have a passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The project focuses on creating a strong support network to encourage young learners to explore STEM subjects, particularly addressing educational disadvantages and language barriers faced by students, including those with a migration background.

Focus

The primary goal of Servus MINT is to develop and distribute engaging learning opportunities in collaboration with partner institutions and schools. The project emphasizes inclusivity by making STEM education more accessible to all students, inspiring them to pursue higher education in these fields. By fostering curiosity and participation, Servus MINT aims to empower young minds and bridge gaps in STEM education.

Initiatives

  • Development of Learning Programs: Servus MINT collaborates with schools and partners to create educational content tailored to students’ needs.
  • Laboratory Tours: Hands-on experiences in scientific environments to help spark students' interest in STEM disciplines.
  • MINT Mentor Training: MINT-Mentors are trained to actively help guide students, share relevant information and promote STEM education at schools.
  • School and Learning Center Network: By connecting schools and extracurricular learning centers, Servus MINT ensures broad access to its resources and initiatives.

Through these initiatives, Servus MINT strives to build a sustainable, inclusive, and inspiring STEM learning environment for students across the region.
