AI business models and services

The "AI business models and services" area focuses on researching new mobility concepts and innovative, sometimes disruptive mobility business models in which data and AI processes are an elementary component of the business model. Particular attention will be paid to intermodular mobility concepts in which automotive mobility is combined with local public transport, individual micromobility and even urban air mobility. The subcluster will also identify the factors for the acceptance and success of these new business models from the user and provider perspective.

It is to be expected that innovative mobility concepts will be realized as prototypical use cases and lighthouse projects within the framework of the AI mobility node. The consistent consideration of AI-based business models in prototype development is expected to lead to the creation of start-ups or intrapreneurship projects with established companies in the future. The work in this subject area should also contribute to the further development of OEMs into mobility service providers, for example by researching AI applications in the field of smart services to increase comfort when driving or flying.
