Lectureships at the Faculty of Sustainable Infrastructure

For the subject Geotechnics and Soil Mechanics, we are looking for a lecturer (m/f/d) to start on 17 March 2025, who can selectively supplement and deepen our range of courses as a specialist.

Your responsibilities:

Technical:

• You will teach the course Geotechnics and Soil Mechanics in the Bachelor's degree programme Sustainable Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Sustainable Infrastructure at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI).
   
• The course covers 4 SWS (15 x 4 x 45 min), which can be held weekly or as a block course.
• Your course times are based on the framework calendar of the respective summer semester (mid-March to early July) or winter semester (October to early February) and can be scheduled flexibly within this framework by agreement.
   
• You plan the individual courses independently using the teaching materials provided.
• You are familiar with the electronic media used at the THI and can also use them for teaching.

Your profile:
 

• You have a university degree and possess pedagogical aptitude, which is demonstrated by experience in teaching or training.
• You have at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Furthermore, you enjoy interacting with students and have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• You can respond to the needs of students from different cultures. You are familiar with working with modern electronic media.
   

The contract is limited to the duration of the course, i.e. a maximum of one semester. The university is seeking to establish a longer-term collaboration. Remuneration, including travel expenses, is based on the applicable rates for lecturers at Ingolstadt University.
